What do you think of when someone talks about France? l’Hexagone (the Hexagon) as mainland France is often casually called, is a country of geographical contrasts. It has Alpine mountains high amongst the crisp air, sun drenched sandy Mediterranean beaches, rugged coastlines bordering the North Atlantic Ocean and the English Channel, serene water canals that connect the inland to the coast, and rolling pastures and fields dotted with picturesque villages overflowing with flowers, ancient houses and simply oozing charm.

France is the sum of all these together with its cities that are as different as its geographical features. France is also synonymous with gastronomic cuisine, stylish interiors, orderly gardens and parklands and historical architecture wherever you turn your focus.

After living part time in France for the last 10 years and travelling extensively throughout the diverse country I’ve experienced the ‘French way of life’ and wish to share this with you.
