French Twilight Market Comes to Newcastle

Who doesn’t love a good French market? Well, France is coming to Newcastle, NSW in a few weeks time with the French Twilight Alliance Française Market. The Station, formerly the Newcastle railway station, now modern event space, is the venue and it’s just undergone a major remodel ready for the French market.

Imagine stalls of freshly cooked croissants, bundles of antique linens, prints, authentic market baskets, clothes and delicious patisseries together with chilled champagne perfect to sip while watching children play, adults enjoy the music and French car enthusiasts admire the mini concourse.

After a super successful French Twilight Market last February, the Alliance Française Newcastle is very excited to have permission to run the event this year again. With extra Covid safety measures and precautions in place for all stall holders, food vendors, visitors and organisers, the event promises to be one of the first large French markets that New South Wales has been able to hold since the pandemic started.

Don’t miss this chance to catch up with your friends and Francophiles over a flaky croissant, glass of chilled Rosé and cheese platters with crusty baguettes.
